| An Integrated Approach to Software Engineering |
E-Books |
| |
Publisher: Springer Number Of Pages: 566 Publication Date: 2005-10-12 Sales Rank: 539765 ISBN / ASIN: 038720881X EAN: 9780387208817 This textbook introduces software engineering to advanced-level undergraduate and graduate students of computer science. It emphasizes a case-study approach whereby a project is developed through the course of the book, illustrating the different activities of software development. The sequence of chapters is essentially the same as the sequence of activities performed during a typical software project. The revised edition updates this sequence for today's standards and adds a valuable chapter on architecture. All activities, including quality assurance and control activities, are described in each chapter as integral activities for that phase of development. Similarly, the author carefully introduces appropriate metrics for controlling and assessing the software process. The text is bolstered by numerous examples, chapter summaries, a helpful bibliography, and good index. |

| Hide In Picture v2.1 |
Software |
| |
Hide In Picture (HIP) is a steganography program. It is a program that allows you to "hide" any kind of file inside standard bitmap pictures. The pictures look like normal images, so people will not suspect they contain hidden data. You can use a password to hide your files, and only those who know the password use are able to retrieve them - without it, people cannot even be sure there is something hidden in the image. |

| Pictures to Exe v4.31 |
Software |
| |
PicturesToExe is a nice way to share your favorite images with others in a compact, easy-to-email form. It creates self-running slide shows of images in .bmp, .jpg, and .gif formats. Using a clean-looking, intuitive interface, you select pictures from any combination of folders on your system. Then press the Create button. In just moments, you've produced a regular executable or a "real" screen saver file that, when run, displays the images with the settings you've chosen. Options let you specify automatic or manual sequencing, pick the timer interval, adjust font and background properties, and decide whether you want the sequence to run once and terminate or to repeat continuously. You may also add a soundtrack (.mid, .wav, and .mp3 formats are supported) and associate each picture with a .wav or .mp3 file. You're limited to five images per presentation until you purchase. |
