Techniques of Silent Killing | 2 MB The techniques comprising this work present methods of assasination requiring silence close contact and the intent to leave the scene without being apprehended. All the weapon herein are utilized manually, with the full body contact - the use of projectile weapons will not be dis cussed. In all these techniques, the assassin approaches an unsuspecting target and kill him with a single stroke, attracting as little attention as possible in the process. We show how an assassin attacks walking targets from the front, from the side, and from the rear. We will also show how he can attack seated targets from side and rear approaches. If you flip through the chapters, you will notice that, with the exception of the techniques in Chapter Four, each sequence ends with the assassin leaving the scene of the action while the victim is falling to the floor. An assassin's job is done when the target has expired. It is also an assassin's job to survive so he can continue to use his skills when they are needed. This requires that he got in, locate his target, and neutralize him without being captured. When he has completed his task, the assassin must turn and walk away without hesitating. |

Indian Medicinal Plants: An Illustrated Dictionary | 8.7 MBThe Dictionary is the first updated source of Ayurvedic, Unani and Siddha synonyms of their botanical counterparts, after a gap of more than 30 years. The synonyms which appeared in "The Wealth of India" series (1948-1976) and in Chopra?s "Glossary of Indian Medicinal Plants" (1956) have been updated till January, 2007. More than 2000 medicinal plants of "The Ayurvedic Formulary of India" and "The Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India" and more than 100 species of non-Indian origin, incorporated in "National Formulary of Unani Medicine" have been covered in the Dictionary. Divergent sources of Ayurvedic, Unani and Siddha herbs have been identified and a number of controversies have been sorted out. Pharmacognosy experts have selected important herbs, which were specially collected from leading pharamaceutical companies and pharmacopoeial laboratories and included in the dictionary as four colour photographs under the "Crude Herb Identification Guide" section. This is a unique feature and makes it an exclusive treat. The Dictionary has been presented in a user-friendly format, as a compact, handy, easy to use and moderately priced one-volume reference work. It unfolds hidden virtues and potentials of Indian herbs for busy professionals, researchers, practitioners of herbal as well as modern medicine, and library frequenters. It will prove a ready information source for students of botany, economic botany, pharmacy, agricultural and medical sciences, who aspire to have an edge over others and are keen to keep themselves abreast of the times. |

World Trade Center - 9-11 Photos (REPOST)122 JPG | 3000 x 2000 | 44.73 MB The World Trade Center in New York City (sometimes informally referred to as the WTC or the Twin Towers) was a complex of seven buildings, mostly designed by American architect Minoru Yamasaki and developed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. It was initiated in 1960 by a Lower Manhattan Association created and chaired by David Rockefeller, who had the original idea of building the Center, with strong backing from the then New York governor, his brother, Nelson Rockefeller. Larry Silverstein held the most recent lease to the complex, the Port Authority having leased it to him in July of 2001. The complex, located in the heart of New York City's downtown financial district, contained 13.4 million square feet (1.24 million mē) of office space, almost four percent of Manhattan's entire office inventory.
Best known for its iconic 110-story twin towers, the World Trade Center was beset by a fire on February 13, 1975 and a bombing on February 26, 1993. All of the original buildings in the complex were destroyed in the September 11, 2001, attacks, including 1 WTC, 2 WTC (North and South Towers) and 7 WTC which collapsed; 3 WTC (Marriott Hotel) was crushed by the collapses of 1 WTC and 2 WTC; and 4 WTC, 5 WTC, and 6 WTC were damaged beyond repair and later demolished. In addition, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (not part of the complex) was destroyed by the collapse of 2 WT A trade for memories |
