Smallville revolves around a young Clark Kent (Tom Welling) learning about his powers and how to manage them. He's joined by his girlfriend, Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) and friends, Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack), Lois Lane (Erica Durance) and Jimmy Olsen (Aaron Ashmore) as well as his cousin, Kara (Laura Vandervoort) and former friend, Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum). Providing support is Lionel Luthor (John Glover). Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The Smallville series was developed by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar.

Battlestar Galactica is a critically acclaimed and award winning re-imagining of the original 1970s series of the same name. This new version picks up some characters and mythological aspects of the original, but differs radically in approach. Instead of the original's family-friendly escapism, this new series is darker, using its concept to reflect a post-9/11 world and made relevant to modern times, as well as exploring issues such as the nature of faith and what it means to be human.

The Mentalist follows Patrick Jane (Simon Baker), a consultant for the police who aids theCalifornia Bureau of Investigation in solving intriguing cases. Working with Patrick are leading agent Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney), and agents Grace Van Pelt (Amanda Righetti), Wayne Rigsby (Owain Yeoman) and Kendall Cho (Tim Kang).
As the agents investigate a vast variety of crimes, Patrick adds to each investigation by incoporating elements of his experience as a mentalist. By watching human reactions and using hypnosis and autosuggestion, Patrick is able to set traps where the suspects and witnesses reveal the truth behind the case.
