At the end of the year 2006, she had two releases: Umrao Jaan and Dhoom 2. While it was a hit commercially,[12] it also sparked a controversy for a scene containing a kiss between her and Hrithik Roshan, which made audiences uncomfortable; a court case is currently pending in India.
