Following the huge success of The Sound of Bassline Vol.1 & Vol.2, Ministry of Sound presents the next in the ‘The Sound of...’ series with this eagerly awaited UK Funky compilation. The UK Funky scene has been bubbling up around key cities for some time now and with crossover tracks on the scene ranging from Fish Go Deep’s cool club cut The Cure & The Cause through to the pop-fuelled Heads Shoulders, Knees and Toes from K.I.G, the UK Funky movement is set to blow this summer. Mixed by Footloose, Pioneer & Supa D (DJs hailing from BBC 1xtra, Kiss FM and the creator of the scene respectively), this triple CD release will quench the thirst of a nation striving for summer-touched vocals, contagious rhythms and basslines that will leave you reaching for the rewind button. The album will also be supported by a worldwide tour throughout June and July reaching far into the summer islands where this music is the soundtrack to the sunshine.
