Klaus Knopper [Klaus Knopper] announced the release of KNOPPIX 6.7. In addition to the Live CD and Live DVD builds, this edition offers a specialized editor KNOPPIX ADRIANE for visually impaired users (here the release missing).
The release is based on Debian «Squeeze» with some elements of the branches of «testing» and «unstable»; kernel 2.6.39.3 and X. Org 7.6 provides support for modern hardware, graphics card NVIDIA graphics driver, added experimental Nouveau; of the KNOPPIX 6.7 included LibreOffice 3.3.3 office suite and browser Chromium 12.0.742.112; to load 64-bit kernel boot option provides «knoppix64».
