The user can compress the files according to his wishes. It supports almost all features of the approved MPEG (Motion Picture Expert Group) standard. The software offers a simple as well as a professional interface. The latter enables experts to perfect both their video and audio streams by adjusting a great number of settings and parameters, including the bitrate, in order to obtain high-quality results for professional production environments.
The default settings of the software already offer the novice excellent results. It also includes many ready-to-use presets for common production environments, such as 720p, 1080i, ATSC etc. As audio formats MPEG and LMPC audio are supported.
