About this portable version

This version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware was created with Thinapp, is fully portable and can be updated.

Before launching the application for the first time, place the executable "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.exe" within a folder of its own. I suggest you create a folder "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.26".

Launching the executable will create a folder called "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" within the host folder". Such folder - also called a sandbox - will hold data related to the application, including definitions updates.

When updating the definitions, subfolders will be created within the sandbox. They are:

a) %Common AppData%: stores the updated definitions - never delete it !
b) %Cookies%, %History%, %Internet Cache%, %Temp%: these folders are temporarily created during the update process an can be safely deleted once the update has completed - you may also wish to keep them.

If you need to copy the portable application to another location, COPY THE WHOLE FOLDER HOLDING THE APPLICATION (not just the executable !).
