Tekla Structures is Building Information Modeling (BIM) software that enables the creation and management of accurately detailed, highly constructable 3D structural models regardless of material or structural complexity. Tekla models can be used to cover the entire building process from conceptual design to fabrication, erection and construction management.
Tekla Structures can be used to interface with other existing applications, or solely as a platform to develop a customizable internal solution. Its open platform supports interoperability and standardization. Tekla Structures links with various systems through Tekla Open API application programming interface that is implemented using Microsoft .NET technology. Examples of standard formats supported by Tekla Structures are IFC, CIS/2, SDNF and DSTV. Examples of proprietary formats supported by Tekla Structures are DWG, DXF and DGN.

Create cast-in-place concrete reinforcement drawings with bending schedules
Customize drawing title blocks and reports
Create general arrangement drawings (plan, section, erection)
Create single-part and assembly drawings (steel)
Create cast-unit drawings (precast concrete)
Print and plot drawings and reports
Create reports (assembly lists, part lists)
Create reinforcement reports (bending schedules, weights, amounts)
The collaboration properties allow users to:
Work simultaneously on the same model with several users
Interface with other tools and disciplines
Publish models to be viewed on the Internet
Exchange data (CIS/2 format, MIS systems)
Export CNC, DSTV
Import external/export data via links (FEM, SDNF, XML)
Import and export data via IFC 2x2, 2x3 and Tekla Open API
Interface with Analysis and Design software for data exchange
Import and export graphic 2D and 3D data (DXF, DGN, DWG)
